About Fort Loramie, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Founded in 1837, Fort Loramie is a charming small town in Shelby County, Ohio.  It is located along Loramie Creek and is home to about 1,500 people. The tiny town is heavily Catholic, as are many communities in the area.  It is an ideal place to raise a family and the seasonal weather creates opportunities for a wide variety of activities for kids.  They will be swimming the river or one of the nearby lakes in the summer and skiing down a hill in the winter.  Talk about the best of both worlds!

There is much to do in the surrounding communities in any season and for any occasion.  If you are looking for something fun to do in the warmer months then get outdoors at one of Tipp City’s municipal parks.  Nearby State Parks also include: Lake Loramie (Loramie Creek flows into this lake), Kiser Lake, Indian Lake, and Grand Lake St Mary’s. If you are interested in the history of the area then you cannot miss The Piqua Heritage Festival, an annual event at the site of the Col. John Johnston farm held each Labor Day weekend. In addition, the annual Country Concert is held in nearby Newport, Ohio each year in the heat of July. You’ll love summertime in this part of the world!

As you spend time in the lovely small towns around this part of Ohio, you will become entranced by the stately historic brick buildings and the charm that this part of the world has to offer.  For example, nearby Sidney is a great place to be out and about on a warm spring or summer day. There, you can stroll as you investigate and explore some of their beautiful and important historical buildings such as the Second Empire courthouse; the Gothic revival Monumental Building, and the national landmark People's Federal Savings and Loan Association.
