About Botkins, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Botkins was named for an early surveyor named Russell Botkin. He chartered Botkinsville in memory of his late father.   With a population of just over one thousand, the welcome sign reads: “Where the waters divide and the people unite.”  This is a nice tribute to the sense of community that can be felt all over this lovely part of Ohio.  This small Midwestern town is quiet and peaceful, enjoys lovely seasonal weather and is adjacent to many charming villages as well as near to the larger city of Dayton.

In Botkins, you will find both a community park and a community pool that are suitable for the warm weather in spring and summer. The Botkins Memorial Pool is 25 meters long by 20 meters. This large and accommodating pool has multiple diving boards, a basketball rim, a slide for children and a larger slide for adults as well as wading pool for small children. The pool does require membership fees and they host parties and events regularly through the hot summer months. That is not all, however. Tipp City is quite nearby and home to some very lovely parks.  State Parks in the area include: Lake Loramie, Kiser Lake, Indian Lake, and Grand Lake St Mary’s.

As you spend time in the lovely small towns around this part of Ohio, you will undoubtedly want to know more about this area’s history. For example, nearby Sidney is a great place to be out and about on a warm spring or summer day. There, you can stroll as you investigate and explore some of their beautiful and important historical buildings such as the Second Empire courthouse; the Gothic revival Monumental Building, and the national landmark People's Federal Savings and Loan Association. You simply cannot miss The Piqua Heritage Festival in nearby Piqua. This annual event is located at the site of the Col. John Johnston farm held each Labor Day weekend.
